The loss of a friend is an incredible wound in our mortal souls. I believe no one should ever be forgotten, especially in death. Such a young, lovely girl was taken too early. I ask upon my DeviantFriends, to please repost the following, along with a few nice words, in loving memory of Carmen Melanie Caeys.

"I have just been informed that one of my best friends has died. she's ~DontYouRemember13 . She was, not very long ago, found, dead, in a very deep ditch. She went missing Friday night, and was found at 12PM this (Tuesday) morning.
Carmen Melanie Caeys was one of, and I'll even go as far as to say the most kindest, most caring, most forgiving, most everything good person I have ever met. She, the other day, whilst at her uncles and having a great time, took a call from me, who was having a BIG problem with my life at the time, and crying my eyes out, and she talked to me and helped me with my situation, acting like an owl from harry potter, going back and forth with words from me and a friend of mine, just to get us back as friends. That isn't all she's done for me, she's just always there, and today she's gone. I wish I could do something - ANYTHING - to go back in time to change what happened, but unfortunately I can't.
Carmen's family know that I won't be able to attend her funeral, because I'm someone who can't say goodbye like that. I'll gladly say goodbye now, but I can't stand funerals. I can't accept people's deaths. Carmen was a bit of an older sister to me, and now she's just disappeared. It's really depressing...
I'd just like to say:
Carmen, girl, rest in peace and have fun up there, hope to join you in the afterlife someday too, but for now, until then. Goodbye. ~Courtney Mercedes Crouch."

Carmen deserves to be remembered. I know that none of you really know Carmen, because she's not very good with making friends, and for those of you (Jenn) who go to my school, she lived on the other side of Melbourne, but could people please copy and paste this as their journals? I want Carmen to not only be remembered by her friends and family, but the community too. If you will put this as your journal, make the title "Rest In Peace Carmen Melanie Caeys", and tell the whole world about her by copying and pasting this journal. I'm sure she'd appreciate it.
I don't know how successful this will be, but we'll see, won't we.
Once again, R.I.P Carmen, we'll all miss you down here on this damn planet."
